My husband and I just returned from 7 days in London and a lovely stay at The Kensington Hotel. Having not really known the geography and location of the hotel in proximity to other landmarks (the map on the hotels page is great, but perspective was our main challenge), we thought the hotel was fabulous, although maybe not an area we would stay in again. Admittedly, the hotel is very close to the South Kensington tube station, which has connection to 3 major lines. This was great because we really didn't stay in the area at all. For someone looking for a cute, posh neighborhood with all of the hustle and bustle of London, this hotel would be ideal. The staff was kind, the building is gorgeous, it's a safe area, the rooms were quiet and clean- it was just not near anything else that we aimed to see.
