Review of South Kensington Easy Hotel London
Crowne Plaza London Kensington (England) Hotel - Reviews and Rates
I have stayed at this hotel before - roughly 12 months ago (and wrote a review) and in all honesty, nothing has changed. This time I stayed I was in the basement - not good for mobile phone reception (there wasn't any) and I thought I upgraded to a slightly bigger room but it certainly didn't feel any bigger compared to the room I stayed in last time.
The bedroom remained small, the bathroom just as small.
But, on the other hand, the hotel is quiet (no sounds from other guests either) and the location is fantastic.
One towel is provided, but nothing else. Therefore, don't forget your shampoo / body wash. But then again, for what you pay you shouldn't complain. For the the price and location all should be good, and all is.
I wouldn't recommend going with anybody else - unless you like claustrophobia and I would also suggest you don't take much luggage as there isn't a lot of room.
As is the case with anything along the "easy" businesses, you have to pay more if you want more (TV, internet, window more towels etc) but if all you need is a bed and a shower, then this will be right up your street.
The bed was a little too soft for my liking, and the shower was either boiling hot, or very cold - the mix didn't work, and the pressure wasn't good.
But, I came before and I'd probably stay again - after all, a room is cheaper than a cab home (for me at least) and therefore I can put up with the nuances of the place.
